She tilts her head lightly, sucking in a sharp breath before slowly moving to lay on her side, eyes wide open. She was not sure if she could bring herself to try and sleep. Though she was sure this place was safer than likely almost anywhere within a short distance. There were even other people here, but how did she know she could fully trust them...? They had saved her from that deathtrap, even brought her back to their...safe-spot. She closes her eyes for a moment, sucking in a sharp breath as she grows still and silent, just listening...
The wasted years, the wasted youth
The pretty lies, the ugly truth
And the day has come where I have died
Only to find I’ve come alive

Alex sat there, crossing her legs a moment, she looked toward the blocked off window, and then to Rorie, and then up to Fin, everything was calm.. Silent even, how was it so quiet in this place... It felt so perfect, like she was sitting back in her own apartment with her friends, or even by herself. She let out a heavy sight, leaning forward to put her head in her hands, she was silent like the other two, before she just sort of fell over, and rolled to lie on her back, on the ground, carpet? carpet, comfortable carpet... She closed her eyes, and took in a deep breath, and slowly letting it out again, her long ebony hair spread out around her. She seemed to be relaxing slowly.
Oh, i found brimstone in my garden.. And i found roses set on fire. And i found Jeus.. What a liar... And i treat licks with muddy water...

Slowly Fin's head would tilt forward, the cigareete falling from his mouth it would bounce on the carpet, the long ash finally breaking. Thankfully it had put itself out. Though, it appeared as if the man had been more exhausted than he had let on. He appeared to be sleeping sitting up, which likely wasn't uncommon, but to just fall asleep outright.

Slowly she would slip into a light slumber, just to exhausted to try and fight sleep at the moment. She could not even force her eyes open, but, it was not that bad of a thing to actually get some sleep for once. It felt like it had been days since she could actually just fall asleep like this, but since it was so quiet in the room, she assumed they had fallen asleep as well. So many questions filled her head, and she had answers for none of them as her mind slipped off into a much deeper, more peaceful sleep.

Slowly the woman did fall asleep, but within about 15 minutes, she rolled over, and opened her eyes, a soft grumble emitting from her.. She had restless legs, and not like she was going to sleep without nightmares. She glanced over toward Rorie and up toward Fin, before she huffed, and stayed on her side, trying to become comfortable.

It would be a few hours before Fin finally stirs, a groan escaping his lips as he adjusts his legs on the floor. They burned, his muscles ached all over. Why was that again? His eyes **** open for a moment before closing once more, oh right...you had picked up some strays. Way to go Finley, you just had to be soft-hearted...now they'll look up to you and you can prove to more people how much of a disappointment you are. He let out a breath before eventually settling near the wall, fully laying down now as he would roll over, back facing toward them, facing the wall. He closed his eyes again, trying to just fall asleep this time, but of course it didn't work, not this time, likely not anytime soon. The sounds of growling and rummaging could be heard from the alley as they sat in silence, causing the man to wonder silently exactly how long this would last.

Her sleep was not very restful like she needed it to be. Rorie's mind was running a muck in her sleep, giving her such vivid and realistic dreams. Blood everywhere, everyone screaming, guns being fired. She was covered in a cold sweat, likely dripping from her forehead onto the baggy stripped jacket she wore. She was not sure how long she had been asleep, but it sure did not feel like it had been that long. Her eyes did not even open when she awoke, far to strained with the weight of the remnants of sleepiness. She could not bring herself to opening her eyes yet. She could feel the wall against her back, but this place was not as cold as the store. The floor not nearly as hard, either. So those people saving her had not been all imagined in her head like she had thought. Though trying to feign sleep, a few tears would run down her dirt-blood stained cheeks with a nearly silent sob, likely only sounding like a muffled groan as she jerks a hand up to cover her mouth, not even checking to see if anyone else was awake. Only now was it that the sounds from outside and bellow were heard by her... she didn't want to open her eyes.

As the two stirred, Alex would have already been awake for a good hour or two.. Sitting up where she had laid out from her tiredness, letting her arms hang off her knees lazily, her icy blue eyes peering up toward the boarded window... The sounds outside made her suddenly on the edge, and something caught her attention the hour she woke, the sounds of scratching on the walls and near the window, she just sat there however, while the others slept, her metal pipe in a lazy hand, she would be fully awake by now, unlike when she first grabbed it waking from her usual nightmares since this started. She tilted her head a bit to look at Fin as he woke and rolled over, and then fell onto Rorie, as she stirred slowly. Alex just let out a sigh, reaching a hand up to rub at the now healed spot on her head where she smashed head first into the driver's wheel of that car... Her head was still sore but, at least the headache and bleeding was over with. She just rubbed her head a bit, eying the windows carefully, she never saw one of those things be able to climb.. but she didn't doubt anything from them, for all she **** knew they could fly.
