Pyris, the name of a dimension in time and space. It was peaceful, quiet, outsiders who had the technology to travel between dimensions called it a Utopia. Humans first appeared here, on a planet called Raggnia. They would've seemed to live peacefully, unaware of the spacial distortions that were made when there were visitors. Society flourished, they rose into space travel, eventually reaching the stars. The planet Raggnia lay still, the people had grew smart, had not stripped their homeworld of its resources in case something bad would happen and they would have to return.

Years passed, then centuries, all was well until a strange ship was sighted. The researching team assigned to the craft went missing. Again and again teams were sent, each time none would return. The ship was eventually quarantined, locked down in an isolated part of space before science teams started picking up more strange ships. The same type, same model would appear over the stars, though they would show no signs of life, then, others, other makes, other models. Eventually tensions rose, as a team headed for a certain ship, one that was far larger and more ornate than the rest, the blackness of space suddenly grew bright with a white light. The planet of Raggnia shook, the surface was wreaked havok on.

It is now 4032, a thousand years since the entirety of space was consumed with this white light, the human population had been majorly thinned, however, as much as the humans had been deprived of the technology they had worked up to, they had nearly bounced back. The first space vessel was launched a week ago, funded by the mysterious United Corporation that had risen up within the past decade. There had been no sign of the vessel since then.

Since the 'Great Flare' as people would call it nowadays, it had been strangely quiet. No longer did people hear stories of the others that may be stranded out in space, or possibly dead. The story now continues, with a simple city, New Upton, United Corporation's headquarters is located here, and a small group of people with curiousity that may end up biting them where it hurts.
