Taru the 'Little Bear'
« on: January 27, 2013, 02:05:27 am »
The girl standing before you is no older than twelve. Despite being so young, she is tall, making her quite lanky. The skin that covers over her thin and lanky form is rather tan, clearly having spent a lot of time within the sun. Her eyes fit her face nearly perfectly, a deep shade of crystal blue. Though despite their beauty, they hold a deep but well controlled anger that is rarely ever seen from this timid child. A few freckles can be seen upon her cheeks and across her nose, just a few shades lighter than her skin. Going down her back in a messy pony-tail is naturally light brown hair that has various darker shades thrown into the mix, along with a small bit of white and platinum blonde. Across her back, mostly hidden by her clothing, four long and ragged claw marks can be seen. They are nearly white compared to her skin, and go from her top right shoulder to her right thigh.

Usually upon Taru's face is a soft, almost fragile seeming smile with a curious blue-crystaled gaze. Her hair is almost never groomed into a neat fashion, seeming to prefer it just let it be as it is. Just like the rest of her, the clothing she wears seems old, well worn with a bit of dirt. Covering her chest would be what appears to be a black-furred hide with stitching in the front, lacking sleeves so her arms and hands are free of any immobilizing effects sleeves might cause. Covering her legs would be a simple skirt that goes to just past her knees, slits on the side to again allow for more easier movement. She has on a pair of shorts under them for obvious reasons. She has no shoes, and really does not seem to need any though. Another small thing to note, would be her nails on her hands and feet seem to be naturally sharp, along with her teeth. She loves to eat meat, raw usually, and has no problems with hunting for her own meal.

Not a lot is known about Taru, she is usually very quiet, but friendly. The little that is known about her, she is quite the fighter despite her size. Fast and swift, her strikes are oddly strong with a bit of a punch to them. She has been known to cut with her nails, which when engaged in combat or angered, tend to be a bit longer than many else would know. She is highly independent and is more at home in a tree than in a building. Unlike many of her kind, Taru seems to also have a good affinity with magic. Be it seeing through barriers, sensing spells/charms/or curses!

Nicknames some may know her by: Bear, Little Bear, *Taru/Tazu
*Depends on which one I am typing that day...

The wasted years, the wasted youth
The pretty lies, the ugly truth
And the day has come where I have died
Only to find I’ve come alive

No longer so little. She has grown massively in size within the past few years. She could easily stand taller than anyone within the house on her hind-legs, her dark fur had slowly started to change color from black to slightly brighter shades of rich, earthen browns and wood-like colors. Her claws were sharp naturally, her fangs well taken care of, she looked like a monster compared to other bears already... But it was easy to tell she is still a child at heart. She is playful, often following Ventus around while he studied, somehow making it around the building without knocking things over or scratching the floor. Her eyes are sharp, as green as the grass that grew outside around her most common sleeping place. Though this friendly bear was bound and roped with muscle, she could take a hit, or several. Training with Derius had improved that since she was small, even though he was a bit slower these days than usual!

Taru is now also Seventeen and has yet to go into her human/avatar form.

(( Will be updating this with her older human form when she manages it! ))
